Data Release
This Data Release statement explains what data Lexicor collects when you use our website, documentation, and evaluation or design-partner services (together, the "Services"), how we use and protect that data, and the terms under which you authorize its processing. It forms part of the Terms of Service.
For design-partner and enterprise evaluations, a separate signed data processing agreement (DPA) or NDA typically governs the handling of your data. Where such an agreement exists, it controls over this statement to the extent of any conflict.
Data we collect
Information you provide
- Contact details — name, business email, organization, and role when you request a briefing or correspond with us.
- Evaluation data — content, configurations, and sample payloads you submit while evaluating the Services.
- Communications — the contents of messages you send to us.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and diagnostic data — basic, privacy-preserving analytics such as page views and aggregate metrics, and technical logs needed to operate and secure the Services.
The public website uses cookie-free, aggregate analytics and does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use data
- To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services.
- To respond to your inquiries and arrange briefings or evaluations.
- To conduct and support design-partner and evaluation engagements.
- To detect, prevent, and investigate security incidents, fraud, and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
Your authorization
By submitting data through the Services, you authorize Lexicor to process that data for the purposes described above. You represent and warrant that:
- you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the data;
- your submission and our processing of it will not violate any law or third-party right; and
- you will not submit sensitive personal data, payment-card data, or regulated health data to pre-release features unless a signed agreement expressly permits it.
How we release and share data
We do not sell your data. We release or disclose data only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers — vetted vendors (for example, hosting and infrastructure) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- Legal and safety — where required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Lexicor, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to equivalent protections.
- With your direction — where you instruct or consent to a disclosure.
Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you or your organization may be used and shared for research and product-improvement purposes.
Data retention
We retain data only for as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law. Evaluation data is deleted or returned on request at the conclusion of an engagement, subject to any retention required for legal or security reasons or as set out in a signed agreement.
Security
We apply administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Report security concerns to security@lexicor.io.
International transfers
Data may be processed in countries other than the one in which it was collected. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, or to object to certain processing and to portability. To exercise these rights, contact partnerships@lexicor.io. We will respond as required by applicable law.
Changes to this statement
We may update this Data Release statement from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised statement.
