Legal
Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes conduct that is prohibited when accessing the Lexicor website, documentation, application programming interfaces, and any pre-release or design-partner services (together, the "Services"). It is part of, and incorporated into, the Terms of Service.
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access for any use that violates this AUP or that we reasonably believe threatens the security, integrity, or availability of the Services.
General principle
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with the Terms of Service and this AUP. You are responsible for the activity of anyone using the Services through your access.
Prohibited activities
You must not, and must not permit or enable any third party to:
Legal and regulatory violations
- Use the Services in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Use the Services to infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Export or re-export the Services in violation of export-control or sanctions laws.
Security and integrity
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network without authorization.
- Breach or circumvent any authentication, rate limiting, or access control.
- Introduce malware, ransomware, or any harmful or disruptive code.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services, including denial-of-service attacks.
- Access data, accounts, or systems that you are not authorized to access.
Misuse of the platform
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, models, or trade secrets, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the Services to third parties except as expressly authorized in writing.
- Use automated means to scrape or harvest content beyond documented programmatic interfaces.
- Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices, including patent-pending or copyright markings.
- Benchmark or publish performance results of pre-release features without prior written consent.
Harmful, deceptive, or abusive content
- Transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that exploits or harms others.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Send unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, spam, or chain messages.
- Submit data you are not permitted to share, including another party's confidential or personal data without a lawful basis.
Data submitted through the Services
You are responsible for ensuring that any data you submit to the Services complies with applicable law and that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit it. How submitted data is handled is described in our Data Release statement. Do not submit sensitive categories of personal data, payment-card data, or regulated health information to pre-release features unless a signed agreement expressly permits it.
Rate limits and fair use
Where the Services expose programmatic interfaces, you must respect any published rate limits and quotas and must not use the Services in a way that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure.
Reporting violations
To report a suspected violation of this AUP or a security concern, contact security@lexicor.io. Coordinated vulnerability disclosure details are published at /.well-known/security.txt.
Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of access under the Terms of Service, and may be reported to law enforcement where appropriate. We may modify this AUP from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
